You will build basic medical knowledge, specialist chiropractic skills, and practical manual competencies, including adjustment and manipulation techniques. The program also supports your ability to reflect on therapeutic practice and align your work with current scientific knowledge.

The chiropractic courses are offered in cooperation with the Chiropractic Academy and the European Chiropractic Academy. Practical seminars take place at locations in Bad Oeynhausen and Eindhoven, Netherlands. Another partner of the degree program is the Bund deutscher Chiropraktiker e.V. (BDC) - Chiropraktik Akademie CPA.
These partnerships strengthen the program’s practical relevance and give students access to specialist expertise, practice-oriented learning environments, and direct theory-practice transfer. The overall academic responsibility remains with Dresden International University (DIU).

Program Structure & Curriculum
Program Structure
The degree program has a modular structure and combines medical foundations with subject-specific chiropractic knowledge, practical treatment techniques, diagnostic skills, and scientific work. Students learn to apply current scientific findings as reflective practitioners and to connect theory with evidence-informed therapeutic practice. The curriculum also provides insight into the legal and professional framework conditions relevant to chiropractic work. Students strengthen their ability to assess clinical findings, interpret diagnostic procedures, and make well-founded therapeutic decisions in a responsible professional context. In addition, the program develops the personal and communicative skills required for professional practice. Students strengthen their self-management, expand their communication skills, and learn to interact confidently with patients and professional partners. Ethical reflection and subject-specific legal knowledge complement this profile.
Curriculum
Study Format
From the 1st to the 7th semester, the program includes one foundational module and one subject-specific module per semester. Online classes take place on one to two Saturdays per month, complemented by two on-site block weeks of five to six days each semester.
The 8th semester is reserved for the Bachelor’s thesis, including its preparation and defense.
