Mustafa Alsaeid is originally from Syria and has lived in Germany since 2020. He is a licensed physician currently completing his neurology residency at Rehaklinik Hetzdorf, where he cares for numerous patients with multiple sclerosis. His decision to pursue the Master's program in “Multiple Sclerosis Management (M.Sc.)” at Dresden International University (DIU) stems from his desire to improve patient care through advanced specialist knowledge. During his time in Syria, he also spent several years volunteering with medical organizations, leading healthcare projects and helping establish first-aid clinics in rural communities.
What the Deutschlandstipendium at DIU Means to Mustafa Alsaeid
“Without the scholarship, I would not have been able to continue my Master's studies due to financial constraints. The funding provided financial security and reinforced my belief that dedication and commitment pay off. It allowed me to focus fully on my studies and research.
The scholarship also supported my professional development by enabling me to deepen my expertise in neurology, particularly multiple sclerosis, and build valuable connections with mentors and colleagues. These experiences continue to motivate me to pursue my career in research and patient care with dedication.”
