At the opening of the conference, at noon on Thursday, Prof. Comi officially announced to the 450 conference participants the start of the programme of this new committed cooperation programme of ECF and DIU. The students of the first matriculation had already arrived on Wednesday to be personally welcomed by the academic directors Prof. Dr. Comi and Prof. Dr. Ziemssen in the run-up to the conference and to participate in many exclusive events and meetings. This exclusive annual meeting in a grand hotel on the shores of Lake Maggiore, with its high-level programme (this year "Progressive MS from pathology to treatment") and networking events, marks the ceremonial start of each new Charcot MS Master's matriculation.
The first cohort consists of highly dedicated neurologists working in MS centres, clinics, branches and research institutions in Germany, Belgium, Colombia, Italy, Montenegro, Portugal, Poland, Mexico, Turkey and Norway.
The Charcot Multiple Sclerosis Master congratulates our student Sara Samadzadeh, MD, who won this year's Young Investigator Award with her poster at the annual meeting.
Dresden International University is looking forward to this new international cooperation project with the European Charcot Foundation and to organising the first study matriculation with clinic and congress visits in Dresden, Barcelona and Milan!

Zur Tagungseröffnung, am Donnerstagmittag, verkündete Prof. Comi den 450 Tagungsteilnehmern offiziell den Programmstart dieses neuen engagierten Kooperationsstudienganges von ECF und DIU. Die Studierenden des ersten Matrikels waren schon am Mittwoch angereist, um im Vorfeld der Tagung persönlich von den Programmdirektoren Prof. Dr. Comi und Prof. Dr. Ziemssen begrüßt zu werden und an vielen exklusiven Events und Meetings teilzunehmen. Diese exklusive Jahrestagung in einem Grand Hotel am Ufer des Lago Maggiores mit ihrem hochkarätigen Fachprogramm (in diesem Jahr „Progressive MS from pathology to treatment“) und Netzwerkevents bildet den feierlichen Auftakt eines jeden neuen Charcot MS Mastermatrikels.
Das erste Studienmatrikel besteht aus sehr engagierten Neurologinnen und Neurologen, die in Deutschland, Belgien, Kolumbien, Italien, Montenegro, Portugal, Polen, Mexico, der Türkei und Norwegen in MS Zentren, Kliniken, Niederlassungen und Forschungseinrichtungen tätig sind.
Der Charcot Multiple Sclerosis Master gratuliert unserer Studierenden Dr. med. Sara Samadzadeh, die mit ihrem Poster auf der Jahrestagung den diesjährigen „Young Investigator Award“ gewonnen hat.
Die Dresden International University freut sich über dieses neue internationale Kooperationsprojekt mit der European Charcot Foundation und auf die Organisation des ersten Studienmatrikels mit Klinik- und Kongressbesuchen in Dresden, Barcelona und Mailand!
