The event was open for DIU students and alumni as well as other internationals located in Dresden that were looking to improve their job applications and receive some useful tips for working life in Germany.
The evening startet at 5.00 pm with an introductory from intap-employee Swati Pant who is an expert for business development and sales. She welcomed the group and introduced herself and her company with a slide that said: What is not intap.
Afterwards the higher education manager Laura Byfut, who is in charge for international programmes at DIU presented some key facts about DIU.
The main part of the event: ‘5 things to do before you graduate in Germany’ were then presented by Swati again, together with an alumni from the DIU master programme Non – Destructive – Testing Shaurya Kacker as well as a current student in the Logistics master programme Pratiksha Shewale.
Both shared their experiences around job-search, application writing and contract negotiations with actual companies in Germany. The tips and tricks that were mentioned during the talk were extremely helpful for all students that are looking for jobs right now.
The event ended with the opportunity to network while enjoying delicious German snacks and drinks. It was a great success!
